Mission Statement The role of the Ross School Site Council is to develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the Ross School Improvement Plan. The Council is elected from the parent and faculty body, representing an equal number of staff and parent members. In addition, there is a Ross School Board representative, who acts as a liaison, with no power to vote. The School Site Council role is defined in the Education Code and is responsible for the following:
• Making recommendations for the School Improvement Budget.
• Monitoring the three-year Improvement Plan addressing Character, Behavior and Learning Needs.
• Evaluating the School Improvement Plan.
• Annually reporting to the Board each June about the budget and School Improvement Plan recommendations.
Meetings The following is the meeting calendar for the 2003-2004 school year. The meetings are held from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. Agendas will be posted at the front entrance to the school. Meetings are open to the public.
